Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she began more intensive vocal training through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera singer and tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After relocating in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in the southern part of California. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events and performs the traditional Latin American Music. The love she has for singing, music and the arts keeps her engaged in local projects both as an artist and instructor. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share with others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will encourage younger generations to continue the tradition.
